2 For the quarters: rightly offered! For the moon: rightly offered! For the stars: rightly offered! For the waters: rightly offered! In the name of God, the All-Seeing: rightly offered! For the centre of the rite: rightly offered! In the name of God, the Purifier: rightly offered!

3 For speech: rightly offered! For breath: rightly offered! For breath: rightly offered! For sight: rightly offered! For sight: rightly offered! For hearing: rightly offered! For hearing: rightly offered!

4 May I obtain the wish and purpose of the mind and the truth of speech. May there be bestowed on me the blessing of cattle, the sweet taste of food, and fame and grace. Rightly offered!

5 In the name of God, the Creator, while it is in preparation; of God, the Sovereign, when it is prepared; of God, the Lord of All, when it is seated; of God, the Giver of warmth, when it is heated with fire; of God, the Giver of splendour, when it is lifted up; of God, the Healer, while milk is poured in; of God, the Nourisher, when the butter trickles down it; of God, the Lord of the angelic hosts, when the milk is clotting; of God, the Friend, when the milk's skin is spreading; of God, the Lord of the winds, when it is carried off; of God, the Radiant, while it is offered as oblation; of God, the Giver of Speech, when it has been offered.

6 In the name of God, the Giver of Light, on the first day; of God, the Radiant, on the second; of God, the Lord of the winds, on the third; of God, the Giver of the sun, on the fourth; of God, the Giver of the moon, on the fifth; of God, the Lord of the seasons, on the sixth; of God, the Lord of the angelic hosts, on the seventh; of God, the Lord of Prayer, on the eighth; of God, the Friend, on the ninth; of God, the All-Seeing, on the tenth; of God, the Mighty, on the eleventh; of God, the Lord of All, on the twelfth.

7 God the Fierce; the Terrible; the Resonant; the Roarer; the Victorious; the Assailant of evil; and the Dispeller. Rightly offered!

8 Thanks be to God, the Radiant, for the heart; to God, the Giver of the lightning, for the point of the heart; to God, the Lord of creatures, for the whole heart; to Him who brought us into being, for the liver; to the Great God, for the flesh between the ribs; to God, the Fierce, for the passions that He has set within us.

9 God, the Fierce, is the Lord of the blood; God, the Friend, is the Lord of obedience; God, the Avenger, is the judge of disobedience; God, the Mighty, is the Lord of pastime; the angelic hosts serve Him with strength; and to the righteous belong enjoyment in the Garden. What is on the throat, what lies between the ribs, the liver, the lower parts, the covering of the heart: all are His creation and His gift.
