Plain text of Seventh Prapathaka · Fourth Khanda
7.4.1 "Conception, assuredly, is more than mind. Verily, when one forms a conception, then he has in mind, then he utters speech, and he utters it in name. The sacred sayings are included in name; and righteous works in the sacred sayings.
7.4.2 Verily, these have conception as their union-point and are established on conception. Heaven and earth were formed through the purpose of God. Wind and space were formed through His purpose. Water and heat were formed through His purpose. Through their having been formed, rain becomes formed. Through rain having been formed, food becomes formed. Through food having been formed, living creatures become formed. Through living creatures having been formed, sacred sayings become formed. Through sacred sayings having been formed, righteous works become performed. Through works having been performed, the world becomes ordered. Such is conception. Honor conception as a gift of God.
7.4.3 He who honors conception as a gift of God, as far as conception goes, so far he has freedom, he who honors conception as a gift of God."
"Is there, Sir, more than conception?"
"There is, assuredly, more than conception."
"Do you, Sir, tell me it."
