Plain text of Sixth Prapathaka · Ninth Khanda
God, the Creator of all things
6.9.1 "As the bees, my dear, prepare honey by collecting the essences of different trees and reducing the essence to a unity, [2] as they are not able to discriminate, 'I am the essence of this tree,' 'I am the essence of that tree,' even so, indeed, my dear, all creatures here, when God takes their souls in sleep, know not that they have been taken into His keeping.
6.9.3 Whatever they are in this world, whether tiger, or lion, or wolf, or boar, or worm, or fly, or gnat, or mosquito, each is a community like yourselves, created by God.
6.9.4 He is the One from whom all things have come. He is the Truth. He is the Lord of your soul; and you, Svetaketu, are His servant."
"Do you, Sir, cause me to understand even more."
"So be it, my dear," said he.
