Final words to the departing pupil

8.15.1 This did God reveal to the first messengers, and they to their peoples, and so it came down to human beings.

He who according to rule has learned the sacred knowledge from the family of a teacher, in time left over from doing work for the teacher; he who, after having come back again, in a home of his own continues his study in a clean place and raises up sons and pupils; he who has turned all his senses to remembrance of his Lord; he who is harmless toward all things, he, indeed, who lives thus throughout his length of life, reaches the Garden and does not return hither again, yea, he does not return hither again!
