7.25.1 God is above all; He is the Most High. He is the Lord of the west, the Lord of the east, the Lord of the south, the Lord of the north. He encompasses this whole world by His knowledge and power.

7.25.2 Now next the instruction with regard to the soul.

The soul is created by God, and to Him it returns. His command is above, His command is below, His command is to the west, to the east, to the south, to the north. The whole world exists by His command.

Verily, he who sees this, who thinks this, who understands this, who has pleasure in remembering his Lord, who has delight in His worship, who has bliss in His nearness, he is free; he has unlimited freedom in all worlds. But they who know otherwise than this are subject to others; they have perishable worlds; in all worlds they have no freedom.
