1 O God, subdue opposing bands, and drive our enemies away. Invincible, slay godless foes: give splendour to the worshipper.

2 Lit with devotion, O God, Thou, deathless, who callest to the feast of the righteous,

Accept our worship with joy.

3 With splendour, O God, Son of Strength, Thou who art worshipped, wakeful One,

Be present at this my sacred gathering.

4 With all Thy lights, with all Thy angels, O God, exalt the songs we sing,

And living men in holy rites.

5 Grant, O God, to the worshipper wealth rich in heroes, plenteous store,

Make Thou us rich with many sons.
