Plain text of 76. Anosh-Uthra in Jerusalem

In the name of the Great God, glorified be the exalted light.

I come with sandals of precious stones, and on my hands are chosen gems and pearls. In my left hand they placed a mallet and a great axe, which breaks down what stands before me. I lay waste and build again, I tear down and found again my palace. The pictures that were painted on the walls I have always wiped away from left to right. Wreaths were set upon my head.

I journeyed through generations and worlds, through generations and worlds I journeyed, until I came to the gate of Jerusalem. I set up my seat, sat upon it and spoke in the mysteries of my wisdom, so that in Jerusalem, whose gates were shut and where bolts and bars were drawn, through my voice and proclamation its gates that were shut opened, and the bolts and bars slid aside. Jerusalem shone in my radiance, all my perfumes spread their fragrance. Those whose smell was foul received sweet fragrance from the scent of my perfumes. To the blind I opened their eyes, and the lepers I healed. To the dumb and deaf I restored speech in their mouths, the crippled and lame I made walk again upon their feet.

The Messiah, son of Mary, lifted up his eyes, his gaze grows troubled, he changes his colour, twists his tongue and speaks with me in all manner of tones. He says: "Who are you, of the first life, that wreaths have been set upon your head? You journeyed through generations and worlds, [through generations and worlds] you journeyed, until you came to the gate of Jerusalem. You set up your seat, sat upon it and spoke in mysteries of wisdom, so that in Jerusalem, whose gates were shut and where bolts and bars were drawn, through your voice and proclamation its gates that were shut opened, and the bolts and bars slid aside? Jerusalem shone in your radiance, all your perfumes spread their fragrance. To the blind you opened the eyes, and the lepers you healed. To the dumb and deaf you restored speech in their mouths, and the crippled and lame you made walk again upon their feet." The Messiah lifted up his eyes, saw me and changes his colour. He puts questions to me that twist his tongue, and speaks with me in all manner of tones. He says: "Who are you, of the first life and of those most wise? Show me your wondrous works in Jerusalem." I stamped upon the earth so that it trembled, the heavens .......... and were shaken. I wrote a letter to the living water; it did not despise my letter. To the fire I laid my sign; the fire did not offend against me, Anosh-Uthra.

The Messiah lifted up his eyes, beheld me, and his gaze grows troubled. He changes his colour, puts questions to me that twist his tongue, and speaks with me in all manner of tones. He says: "If you come from the first life, then fetch the letter of truth and read it aloud." The beginning of the letter I read aloud. Adam and Eve, his wife, I call, the head of the whole generation. Seth, the son of Adam, I call, the choicest plantation that they planted in generations and worlds. Ram and Rud I call, the world that perished by sword and plague. Surbai and Sarhabel I call, the world that perished in fire and burning. Shum son of Noah I call, the world that perished in the waters of the flood. Everyone who listens to me, Anosh-Uthra, and believes, for him a place is prepared in the abode of light. Whoever does not listen to me, Anosh-Uthra, his place will be turned away from the abode of light. His name will be blotted out from my page, his form will grow dark and will not shine.

God is exalted and is victorious, and victorious is the man who has come here.
