Plain text of The Plough

49.

In the name of God, the Ever-Living, the Great, may the sublime Light be glorified.

Beyond, at the side of the otherworldly members of the Truth, stands the plough. The plough ploughs, a plough that is no ox-plough. The plough is a plough of the Truth, which sows wages and alms. "Sunday" grasps the plough, and Bar-Haije holds the seed. Excellent men sow and scatter precious stones, scatter and cast pearls. The good sow and scatter; they brought the seed out and threshed it in generations. They brought it out, threshed it in generations, and set guardians over it. They set guardians over it, who are otherworldly, blessed and firm beyond measure. I say to them: "You guardians who guard the generations, watch your wagon attentively; watch your wagon and your way attentively, that you may take your wagon along unharmed."

Now the Truth goes and comes, having taken a fan of living water in her hand. She took a fan and taught the good, her sons: Those who are not zealous fall down like a well. Again, those who are not zealous fall down like an oven. The women who are not zealous and are unworthy sink down from their fold and draw near to the mouth of the stallion. Redeemed and rescued are your souls, my good brothers and my believing sisters. The perfect men and perfect women will be redeemed. They will be redeemed from the mouth of this stallion, whose name is Ur, lord of the darkness.

God is exalted and victorious, and victorious is the man who went forth to this place.
