The Three Refuges

kp1:1 Homage to him, the blessed one, the perfected one, the fully awakened Buddha!

kp1:2 I take refuge in the Buddha, I take refuge in the Teaching, I take refuge in the Saṅgha.

kp1:3 For the second time I take refuge in the Buddha, for the second time I take refuge in the Teaching, for the second time I take refuge in the Saṅgha.

kp1:4 For the third time I take refuge in the Buddha, for the third time I take refuge in the Teaching, for the third time I take refuge in the Saṅgha.
