May forgiveness of sins be granted to me, N, and to my wife, N.

First Part

This is the mystery and the writing and "the Overthrow of the Seven Stars," which Manda dHaije revealed and taught on the earth. He gave it to Hibil, Sitil and Anos, and Hibil, Sitil and Anos gave it to those who love His Name. He revealed to them concerning the mysteries and transgressions of the seven planets, and the first following that Saturn gained before all the stars of wrath among the children of the great company of the faithful. He made a covering and perverted the sign. He sent out false prophets; he laid the cross of darkness on their left shoulder and took them captive from their houses. He appeared to them in the form of an envoy and called himself the lord of lords, the god who shows wonders in heaven and on earth. He settled on those who fast, and he makes men into monks and women into nuns, an invented practice, and settles upon them. They teach a wisdom of falsehood, they take on a likeness of light, appropriate the speech of the stranger, hold lying speeches and set up a house of mysteries in which they celebrate their cults. To each of them who dies they do things that hinder their souls. They call themselves prophets of falsehood. They impose on them a fast of four days, eight days, twenty days with silence. He (Saturn) imposes on them a fast of fifty and sixty-one days.

May the men of tried righteousness be preserved from the hand of Saturn, the Deceiver and the seven planets gaining power over them.

You also, my disciples, give no greeting to the "prophets" and do not offer them your hand. For while they still dwell in their body, their soul withers, and their seed is cut off from the house of God. Upon every disciple who greets them, the wrath of God comes.

Come, I have spoken to you of Saturn and the following that he has gained. They suffer hunger more than a snake and thirst for water more than an ant. When their spirit dies, it goes out like ashes, and their soul dies like live coals.

Next I will speak to you of the Sun and the following that he has gained. From him came those who revere water and fire exceedingly, although these are only signs of God. Do not revere them; revere God alone, who created them.

I speak to you, my disciples, and instruct you about every matter. Everything that you bring home from the markets and streets, wash with water and then eat it. Whoever does not wash it and eats it will be tormented on instruments of ice.

Come, I will now tell you of the gate of the star Libat (Venus), who is different from all the other stars. From her came adultery, unchastity and fornication. From her came three hundred and sixty songs and shameful deeds, and evil spirits arise. They arrange banquets and songs and cast captivity over every place. They make drums and harps and give lust, captivity and song to the "chosen ones" of the Deceiver. These hang drums on their shoulders, take song and flutes into their mouths and speak with them in heavy anger. Women and men, great and small, fall thereby into glow and heat and wear themselves out. Lust clothes them, and they throw themselves into dancing. The evil spirits of Mars sit on their shoulders in the form of apes, make them leap in dancing and throw them into fiery rifts. They wrap them in sorcery and lust, they are captured by the mystery of intoxication and do not know what they do.

Then another gate came forth, which is called the Mnunaeans. They clothe themselves with roses, cover themselves with roses and put wreaths of unchastity and fornication around their heads. They take the children of men captive and bring them to a fall. Through them beings are killed and hindered. They practise sorcery with the whole company of souls. By sorcery and ugly works they take men captive from their houses, fetch them away from their wives and throw them into heavy torment. They are called "the chosen ones" of the Deceiver. They lead captives away, carry off booty and utter the name of death. They bring home and sell, and acquire much money and goods. When their spirit dies, they do not come out of the snares, bonds and chains, and they die a second death. They cast out lust and the song of falsehood, and the worlds and generations are taken captive by them. They sink down into the throat of the stallion.

Come, I have told you of the gate of Libat, of the deeds that she has done in the world.

Then there is another gate, whose people shave their heads, form a god out of a block of wood and worship it. They paint gods in their houses, and they, their sons and daughters worship them. They beat the rattle and practise works of sorcery, false wisdom and contemptibility. These are warnings: do not worship anything but God alone.

I will tell you of another gate that works its mischief among the company of souls. From it have come those who wander on the mountains, heights and fields, and in their shape they resemble demons. They go about naked, and in their hair they resemble stinking he-goats. Their form is uglier than the night and more fearful than the howling gloom. They graze on green herbs, and of the good, beautiful foods that God has created they are not permitted to eat. They know no joy; the Deceiver does not let them feel joy in this world. The demons whisper to them, and then they say: "God whispers to us; we do not turn away from God." They call my disciples "word-interpreters" and "sellers of water-buckets" and say to my disciples: "You have no right faith in the world."

Further I declare to you, my disciples, that there is yet another gate, which came forth from the false claimants. They are called Zandiqs and Mardmans. They sow seed in secret and assign their share to the darkness. They invoke wind, fire and water and praise sun and moon. When their spirit dies, they are like flies that sit on a pot. The steam rises and reaches them, they lose their wings, are struck and fall in. Every Nasoraean who eats of their food will fall into the great Sea of Reeds.

I have told you of the Deceiver, the false claimants and the false mysteries that they created in the world to hold the company of souls fast in them. Now I will tell you of another gate, which Bel created. They take the crown to themselves and exercise kingship. The whole world dies away and is killed. For the sake of gold and silver they murder and shed blood. The disciples are murdered in the process, and the Nasoraeans led into captivity. They learn the book of the Deceiver, drink the turbid water and are taken captive by arrogance. They love images and colored cloth, love the pleasure of the world and say: We do not want to leave it, the world does not pass away. Every chosen and perfect one who rebukes them is struck by persecution and injury.

I declare to you now, my disciples: Every Nasoraean who gives away the reward and alms of Jawar for colored cloth, dyes white garments, changes their appearance, clothes his wife with them and sets her before him, will receive blow after blow, will be cut off from the precious light, will fall into the watch-houses of the seven planets and will not come near to the house of Abathur. Therefore, my disciples, have no desire for the images and colored cloth of this world, lest you be cut off from the hidden Jawar.

I tell you of the call that Bel called, by which all the great and arrogant are killed. No one takes them by the hands to free them from them. They weep, howl and dissolve in tears. Day after day they wage war and shed blood, and persecution strikes the whole company of souls and the great generation of the faithful. Again and again they oppress them and say: We will wipe them from this world. They eat bread with the sword. The more the age declines, the more wickedness oppresses them. All peoples, tribes and tongues bow down to them. Even among the children of the great company of the faithful there are many souls who go and join them. They fall away from the Name of God and revere them. They renounce Manda dHaije and confess a false lord and a false spirit that revealed to them the mystery of death. They go and curse the Name of God. All filth and insult goes forth from them, and they insult the Name of God. Everyone who is of the great company of the faithful and bows down to a false lord will find no relief. Because he has twisted and altered the sign, he shall be killed on an instrument of ice.

Further, the rebel spirit Nerig (Mars) speaks to his followers: "There is no god more noble and stronger than I." He brings without interruption sword, saber, war, murder, hunger, torment, battle and persecution against his brothers. In the whole world, in its four corners, he brings day by day the tumult of war among them. All the souls that stand against the false lord they fight with sword, fire and flame. Day after day the Deceiver goes out to battle and wages war with Nerig. She says to him: "I gave you the book and the speech and revealed to you the mystery of death. I gave you scourge and ruling power, speech and being heard. I told you that all light would rise for you. You declare to your worshippers: Come, I will raise you up to the Garden, to the place to which your eyes look up in hope, yet you cast them into the lower Sheol. You beguile them with scourge and ruling power, gold and silver, then you cast them into the lower Sheol and oppress them with instrument, stocks, torture, torment, bondage and agony. I said to you: Did you not say: I am the mighty god, I will show you the light?"

The rebel speaks to his servants and all the gates that professed allegiance to him: "When I beguiled you with the great raid, subjected the whole world to you, gave you scourge and ruling power, bowed all the powers under you and plundered all peoples, tribes and tongues, I and my mother, the Deceiver, beguiled you together. I told myself: Thus at the last day a meal will stand ready for me. See how all the planets had no power like yours, and the servants of the planets, my brothers, were no match for you and had no ruling power like yours. Now, on the great Day of Judgement, you find no help with me. Because I fed you with ...... and honey, you grew soft with fragrant wreaths, flowers and spices, I let you walk in costly garments and drive between heaven and earth in the chariot of wrath, and made you fat rams, no one shall now free and deliver you from my hands and bring you up to the light."

I have instructed you about all the gates of the planets and all the follies. Do not eat their food. Let your hands not be stained with blood.

Praised be God and Manda dHaije. Truth is victorious over all works, and victorious is the community of the Nasoraeans.

And truth is victorious.

Second Part

In the Name of the great God.

Hear me, my Lord, hear me,

raise me up, O Great One,

our Lord, Source of life.

This is the mystery and the book of the radiance that blazes in the Spirit of Knowledge, from which the rays of splendor went forth, from which the inner rivers came. From those rivers came the river, the greatest among all rivers. From that river there separated and came forth the great, hidden, first Nitubta, from which the great, righteous Servant came into being, from whom the distinguished servants of the first life came into being, who stand and in praise revere and glorify God, the great, the mighty. He said to them: "Rise, go forth to the Piriawis-Jordan and to the waves of the water, conceive and call forth a servant whose form does not pass away, in whom there is no (evil) thought, who is rather gentle, modest, silent and agreeable, who is like the Uthras, the sons of light."

As soon as I spoke the word to them, they rose in praise, bowed, praised, glorified and blessed Him and said to Him: "What You say takes effect."

They rose, went forth to the Piriawis-Jordan and to the waves of the water, they conceived and called forth the servant whose form does not pass away, in whom there is no (evil) thought, the great, righteous servant, whom God created by His word. Now it was established why He created him.

The first servant then rose, bowed and praised God, the great, the mighty, and said to Him: "I have conceived and called forth a single, great, righteous servant."

Then He said to him: "Go, clothe him with a garment of splendor and cover him with good, pure turbans of light."

Then he came, clothed him with garments of splendor, covered him with good, pure turbans of light and said to him: "Rise, ascend and behold the glory of your Lord, who is enthroned in His place." Then he said: "There is One greater than you, at whose right and left stand numerous beings of light." "Come," he said to him, "behold the dwelling within the dwelling." "There is the dwelling," he answered him, "of which you spoke to me."

Then there came forth a messenger, whose name is Adakas-Malala, from God, the great, the mighty, and said to him: "What is your name?" But he kept silence. A second time he asked him and said to him: "What is your name?" But he kept silence. A third time he asked him and said to him: "What is your name?" Then he answered him: "I am the youthful servant, the righteous, the great."

Then he took him, caressed him, led him in, showed him the dwelling within the dwelling and showed him the mighty treasures of the hidden. He beheld the brightness, whose splendor is wondrous, whose light is precious and whose glory is shining and exalted. When he saw this, he was afraid, trembled and shuddered, fell on his face, prostrated himself to God and praised.

Then the messenger, whose name is Adakas-Ziwa, said to him: "Whoever reveals this glory to people who are unworthy will not behold the light. But whoever keeps and guards this glory in secret will ascend day after day, behold the place of light, and a part of my splendor will rest upon him."

Then the youthful servant said to the messenger, whose name is Adakas-Malala: "[I beheld] the splendor that stands above all splendor, the light that stands above all light. Who took the blindness from my eyes and the lump of flesh from my heart? When you speak with the Lord, do not tell Him what I say." Then he (Adakas) said to him: "Tell your Lord that He may rejoice in His own mind and shine for what you have beheld."

Then he (the servant) descended, went and found the first life, how it sat in its own dwelling. Then he said to him: "Rejoice and shine in your own mind over what I have beheld." The first one asked the youthful servant: "What have you beheld?" Then he said to him: "I beheld the splendor that stands above all splendor and the light that stands above all light. I beheld the brightness, whose splendor is wondrous, whose light is precious and whose glory is exalted. In great numbers a thousand times a thousand beings of light stand at its right and ten thousand times ten thousand beings of light at its left."

Then the first one rose with his dwelling and offered prayer and praise to God. The voice and the call ascended to God, the great, the mighty. When God, the great, the mighty, heard that voice and that call, He arose and created a thousand times a thousand beings of light at His right and ten thousand times ten thousand beings of light at His left. God, the great, the mighty, then said to that messenger who stands before Him: "Where is the youthful servant? Bring him before me." Then he answered Him: "When You speak, it takes effect."

He went from the King of Light, came before the first one and said to him: "Where is the youthful servant? Where has the righteous, great servant gone?" Then the first one answered him: "He went to the other worlds of light, which have been called forth but are not well prepared. They sent him there and charged him over them, that he should prepare them well." Then he said: "Bring him quickly." Then he brought him, took him and led him in before Him. There he bowed, praised Him and said to Him: "Blessed be the place from which You came. Praised, glorified and established be the One who sent You and commissioned You."

He (the messenger) took him by the palm of his right hand, lifted him up and brought him before God, the great, the mighty. When He saw him, He caressed and kissed him and said to him: "Go and say to the Nasoraeans who were left behind in the world of darkness and in the black water: Every Nasoraean who gives the pledge of truth to himself, like the first one who stretched out his hand at his own baptism when he had no companion, will have no share in the house of God. Upon every Nasoraean who prepares the bread of offering sitting down, condemnation, blow and plague will come from the house of God. Rather, let him stand long, long and prepare it, and then let him sit abundantly, abundantly and rest."

God is praised in the light that is without end, truth is victorious, and victorious is Jawar-Ziwa and his friends.
