Plain text of Right Ginza, Third Book: The Book of the Living, First Teaching (16)

Let us celebrate the mystery of lust with water

and stir up all the world.

Let us stir up all the world

and ensnare it

through the great mystery of lust,

that no one learn anything about us.

Let no one learn the secret of our oaths,

and let us not make our speech known.

Let us not make our oaths known

nor all that we have devised in our world.

No, let us not betray any of the mysteries,

and let us throw his party into confusion,

the party that the Stranger founded,

that he may have no share in the world.

Let him have no share in the world;

rather let the whole house belong to us.

Let it belong wholly to us,

and let there be no one else in this world.

What has the Stranger done in the house,

that he was able to found a party in it?

The lords of the house do not know

that the whole house belongs to us.

The house belongs to us,

and they have no share in it."

They arose, confused their works

and brought lack and fault upon them,

because the house is not theirs.

The house did not become theirs

and was not created for their sake.

Into the house which the Uthras created

they sent me,

me and the Uthras, my brothers,

that I might come and establish good in it.

That I might establish good in it,

that the good may see it and receive good.

The good shall see it and receive good,

they shall ascend and behold the place of light.

The wicked shall see it and be ashamed;

they shall sink down into the furnaces of fire.

They shall sink down into the heated furnaces,

into the place from which they were created.

In the place from which they were created,

there their spirit shall cease.

There their spirit shall cease,

because they did nothing fair.

Since they did nothing fair,

they shall come to an end on the Last Day.

They arose, held a feast

and distributed portions among themselves.

Portions they distributed among themselves,

they who are unworthy of the place of light.

They perverted the good

that the Lord of the world had made.

They perverted the right mysteries

that the First had made.

They perverted the words of truth

and spoke words of falsehood.

Words of falsehood they spoke,

because they are unworthy of the place of light.

They made the head into the tail,

they made the tail into the head.

They perverted their works

and did evil in the world.

They brought all fruits

and did all evil to them.

They brought the herbs

and brought lack and fault upon them.

They brought the living water

and poured turbidity into it.

They brought the head of the lineage

and practised upon him the mystery of lust and desire,

by which all the worlds (beings) are set aflame.

They practised seduction upon him,

by which all the worlds are bewitched.

They practised upon him the mystery of drunkenness,

by which all the worlds become drunk.

They gave them to drink from the cup of drunkenness,

that they might turn their faces toward the great Suf-Sea.

They brought gold and silver

and the pearls of this world.

They brought gold and silver,

by which the worlds become drunk.

The worlds become drunk thereby

and turn their faces toward the Suf-Sea.

They brought money and goods

and did all evil with them.

To Ruha they allotted lust,

which the worlds behold and are set aflame.

To the devil Nbu they allotted (false) wisdom

and made him lord of lust.

To him they allotted the drums and flutes,

by which all worlds are ensnared.

To the devil Kewan they allotted wickedness,

from which lack and fault proceed.

To the devil Samis they allotted lying,

by which all worlds are bewitched.

To the devil Sin they allotted deficiency,

from which all deficiency has proceeded.

To the devil Bel they allotted the mystery of water,

with which he stirs up all worlds.

He stirs up all worlds

and mixes the good with the evil.

To the devil Nerig they allotted the weapon,

to wage war in the world.

They called the twelve constellations

and allotted to them the zodiac.

They distributed among them the several houses

and cast them again into wickedness.

Again they cast them into wickedness:

hatred, jealousy and discord.

They divided the days and months,

they divided the hours and sossi.

The hours and sossi they divided,

divided the minutes and seconds.

They divided all faultiness,

divided all lack and fault.

They divided the whole world among themselves,

without remembering the name of the First.

They made their covenant

and cast ........
