When I arrived at the abode of life,

life came to meet me.

It came to meet me,

it clothed me in radiance, brought light and covered me with it.

It included me in its reckoning,

and from its midst the good also came forth:

"Between the lamps of light

let your lamps be drawn up and shine."

You have been set up and made firm

by the word of truth that has come to you.

The word of truth has come to the good,

the word of the truthful to the believers. —

And the Living God is victorious.
