A great being of radiance am I,

in whom there was neither lack nor blemish.

When I dwelt in the bodily garment,

I did not commit fornication and did not steal,

there was in me neither lack nor blemish.

I practised no secret dealings and made no signs,

there was in me neither lack nor blemish.

I kept myself safe from the Seven

and did none of their works.

Now that my measure is full,

they all sit in mourning.

I put on the garment of the exalted Lord

and beheld the garment of the Mighty Living God.

They set me up in the scales,

there was in me neither lack nor blemish.

They clothed me with a garment of living fire,

in which there is no heat and no wrath.

They set on me a wreath of radiance and victory,

whose leaves shine.

They clothed me with a garment of living fire,

then I rose up and beheld the place of light. —

And the Living God is victorious.
