Plain text of Book Three · Thirty-third Piece
To what are the good like
when they depart from their body?
They are like swift arrows
that have been smoothed and so left this world.
To what are the wicked like
when they depart from their body?
They are like bees
when they leave their hive.
They have given up their honey,
then they went and lay down on the stony mountain. —
The Living God is exalted and victorious,
and victorious is the man who went this way.
I will rise up and say to the Great Living God:
"Daily, every day,
send me voice and strength.
The voice and the strength that You send me
will keep me awake, so that I do not stumble."
