Plain text of Book Three · Thirty-second Piece
When will my measure be full,
when will my lawsuit be settled?
When shall I lay aside the bodily garment
and go to the place of life,
to the place of the house of the good,
to the world in which my home stands?
I will go forth and go to the home of my origin,
I will not return to my house here.
Woe and grief it was to me
that I had to dwell in this world,
where life answered me from the fruits,
and radiance answered me from afar.
From a place that is wide and far
I perceived and knew my Lord. —
The Living God is exalted and victorious,
and victorious is the man who went this way.
