I am the head of the knowing ones among the chosen,

I am the head of the believers.

From the beginning I am marked with the sign;

and I went to the bank of the Jordan.

From the beginning I am marked with the sign.

The demons stand in the streets.

As soon as the Seven saw me,

the Seven stood up and armed themselves.

They say:

"You are going out, man,

give us your head and then go out.

Man, give us your head,

perhaps then you will return to us." —

"My head I do not give you,

upon my head the sign is set up for me."

"You are going out, man,

give us your eyes and then go out.

Man, give us your eyes,

perhaps then you will return to us."

"My eyes I do not give you,

my eyes are full of light."

From the beginning I am marked with the sign,

and I went to the bank of the Jordan.

The Seven saw me and armed themselves,

all my enemies take the streets:

"You are going out, man,

give us your ears and then go out.

Man, give us your ears,

perhaps then you will return to us." —

"My ears I do not give you,

my ears hear hymns."

"You are going out, man,

give us your mouth and then go out.

Man, give us your mouth,

perhaps then you will return to us."

"My mouth I do not give you,

my mouth is full of Kushta."

"You are going out, man,

give us your hands and then go out.

Man, give us your hands,

perhaps then you will return to us."

"My hands I do not give you,

my hands give alms.

Alms my hands give,

and they offer Kushta."

"You are going out, man,

give us your heart and then go out.

Man, give us your heart,

perhaps then you will return to us." —

"My heart I do not give you,

in my heart dwells knowledge."

"You are going out, man,

give us your knees and then go out.

Man, give us your knees,

perhaps then you will return to us." —

"My knees I do not give you,

my knees bow before God."

"You are going out, man,

give us your feet and then go out.

Man, give us your feet,

perhaps then you will return to us."

"My feet I do not give you,

my feet walk the ways of Kushta.

The ways of Kushta my feet walk,

from the place of darkness to the place of light.

On the ways of Kushta and faith

you will ascend and behold the place of light." —

Victorious was Manda dHaije,

and he helped all his friends to victory. —

And God is victorious.

The soul rejoices in the treasures

and in the enlightenment of life that rests upon him.

I acknowledged you, man of proven righteousness,

for you freed my soul from the sinners.
