O Lord, protect me from the one who taketh captive and seizeth with violence, and liveth upon those who are motionless! Let me not become motionless before him, let me not be paralysed before him, let not his venoms enter into my limbs, for my limbs are Thy creation.

And if he is not paralysed, let me not be paralysed.

Let not his languors enter these limbs of mine.

Thou art the One who presidest over the pole of Heaven, and all power is Thine.

Thou art He whose names are hidden, and whose abodes are mysterious for all eternity.

It is from Thee that I proceed, and by Thy leave I am safe and sound.
