O God, the Creator, who proceedest from the Waters, who art resplendent, and who strewest Thy words to those who are before Thee;

Here cometh the faithful N, from the band of those who do the bidding of Thy words.

O ye servants of God at the gloaming of the day, let N live after death, as the sun, Thy sign, returneth daily.

Here the helmsman: As the sun is renewed from yesterday by God's command, so shall he too be raised, and as every servant of God exulteth in life, so shall N exult even as they exult in life.
