Plain text of Hymn Iii
Adoration to God, the Creator, as His sign setteth in the Land of Life.
N; he saith:—
Adoration to God as the sun setteth in the Land of Life.
N; he saith, adoring God, when the sun setteth in the Land of Life and sheddeth its rays on the Unseen Realm;
Hail to Thee, Lord of the sign that setteth in the Land of Life, Creator of the angels. Exult, because the doors are opened of the Horizon, at the setting in the Mountain of the West.
Its rays, they run over the earth to enlighten the dwellers in the Unseen Realm. Those who are in the Unseen Realm worship Thee with loud acclaim, and cherish hope when they see Thy sign daily.
Thou grantest to the angels and to the righteous who follow Thee and come in Thy train to dwell in the Garden.
O August One, who createst the angels, and dost invest them with their attributes; the Unknowable, the Ancient One, the Mighty in Thy mystery.
Be Thy fair countenance gracious to N, O God, Creator of the angels.
Freedom for ever from perdition is derived through God's mercy, and upon it I take my firm stand.
He hath written it who spake it, and his heart resteth on the reward.
Let there be given me armfuls of bread and drink, and let me be accompanied by this remembrance after my life.
