1 We worship God, the Wise Lord, the bountiful; and we honour the Bountiful Immortals, His angels. And we give thanks to God for the bountiful saint, and for the bountiful anticipative understanding. Also we give thanks to God for the good and bountiful Piety, the ready mind. And we praise her together with the bountiful creatures in the creation of the pure. And we give thanks for the holy creatures who have intelligence as their first, those foremost in their mind. And we praise the omniscient understanding, and Him who is the Wise Lord Himself. 2. And we give thanks to God for the shining sun, which is the highest of the high, His sign; yea, we give thanks for the sun together with the Bountiful Immortals, and the holy words with their good ceremonies. Also we give thanks for the glorious achievements, and for this glory which we have gained. And we give thanks for the herds which have the fire and its blessings. Also we honour the holy benefit which is so widely diffused, and that wisdom which is the bounteous Piety, whose are the laws of the Righteous Order, and of those holy creatures who have Righteousness as their first.
