11 We give thanks to God for the light, the sign of the Wise Lord. We give thanks for the fire of the lofty use, and the fire of the good and friendly, and the fire most beneficial and most helpful, and the fire most supporting, and the fire most bountiful, and for the angel Nairyosangha, servant of the royal lineage, and for that fire which is the house-lord of all houses and God-made, the sign of the Wise Lord, the holy Lord of the ritual order, with all the fires.

12 And we give thanks to God for the good and best waters God-made, holy, all the waters God-made and holy, and for all the plants which God made, and which are holy.

13 And we hold in honour the bountiful sacred word of reason, the law of Zarathushtra against the powers of evil, and its long descent.

14 And we give thanks to God for Mount Ushi-darena, which is God-made and shining with its holiness, and for all the mountains shining with holiness, and of abundant glory, and which God made.

15 And we hold in honour the good and pious prayer for blessings, (16) and we give thanks for these waters and these lands, (17) and for all the greatest chieftains, ordering the ritual,

18 And I praise, invoke the mercy of God upon, and glorify the memory of the good, heroic, bountiful souls of the righteous, those of the house, the village, the tribe, the province, and the greatest of the Zarathushtrian order, and I honour all the holy angels!
