And I offer the sacred plant and its juice with a complete and sacred offering, in remembrance of the righteous Zarathushtra Spitama, the saint, and I offer the wood-billets with the perfume in thanks to God for the light, His sign, O Lord Wise!

And I offer the sacred plants with a complete and sacred offering, in thanks for the good waters made by God. And I offer this water of the plant with scrupulous exactness and with sanctity, and this fresh milk, and the plant Hadhanaepata uplifted, with a complete and sacred offering, in thanks for the waters which are made by God.

And I offer this bundle of twigs with its offering and with its binding, as a girdle spread with complete sanctity and order, in devotion to God and His bountiful gifts; and I offer with my voice the thoughts well thought, the words well spoken, and the deeds well done, and the heard recital of the Gathas, the sacred words well composed and well delivered, and this lordship, and this sanctity, and this ritual mastership, and the timely prayer for blessings, with a complete and sacred offering, for the devotion of the holy angels, heavenly and earthly, and for the contentment of the individual soul!

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering to God, as Lord of the ritual days, Lord of the morning watch, and of the midday and evening watches, the holy Lord of the ritual order; and to God the Friend of the wide pastures, of the thousand ears, and myriad eyes, the All-hearing whose name is spoken in praise, the Giver of peace to the pasture.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering to God, Lord of the noon watch, the holy Lord of the ritual order; and I offer to Him as Lord of the ordered seasons, and to Righteousness the Best, and in thanks for the light, the sign of the Wise Lord.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering to God, Lord of the afternoon watch and of the seasons of the herds, the holy Lord of the ritual order, and to that lofty Lord of the waters, and in thanks for the waters which God created.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering to God, Lord of the evening, the life-furtherer, and of the seasons of the year, and in remembrance of the souls of the righteous, and of the women who have many sons, and of the prosperous home-life which endures without reverse throughout the year, and of force, well-shaped and stately, and of the blow which smites with victory, God-given, and of the victorious ascendency which it secures.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering to God, Lord of the dawn watch, the holy Lord of the ritual order, and of the seasons of settlement and home, and in thanks for Obedience, the blessed, endowed with sanctity, who smites with the blow of victory and makes the settlements advance, and to God the Most Just, and to Rectitude, who furthers the settlements and causes them to increase.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering to God, Lord of the months of the ritual order, of the new and the waning moon, and of the full moon which scatters night, holy Lord of the ritual order.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering to God, Lord of the yearly festivals, of the mid-spring, the mid-summer, the season of the corn, the season of the herds, the furtherer of the strength of the herds, the mid-year, and the all-year gathering, the holy Lord of the ritual order, and I offer with sanctity for the several seasons, ordered by the Lord of the ritual.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering to God, Lord of all those ordered times, the thirty and three, which approach the nearest round about our morning watch, and which are the times of Righteousness, the ritual by eminence, the Best, whose observances are inculcated as precepts by God the Wise Lord, and uttered forth by Zarathushtra.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering to God, the Lord and the Friend, the lofty and imperishable and holy, and in thanks for the stars which are the creatures of the Bountiful Spirit, and for the star Tishtrya, the radiant, the glorious, and for the moon which contains the seed of cattle in its beams, and for the resplendent sun of the fleet horses, a sign of God the Wise Lord, and to God the Friend, the Lord of the provinces. And I offer with a complete and sacred offering to God the Wise Lord, the resplendent, the glorious, who rules this day, and in remembrance of the souls of the righteous who name the month.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering, in thanks to God for the light, the sign of the Wise Lord, together with all lights, and for the good waters, even the waters which are God-made, and for all the plants which God made.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering, in thanks to God, for the bountiful sacred word, the holy, the effective, revealed against the powers of evil, the law of Zarathushtra, and for the long descent of the good religion, the faith of the worshippers of God.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering, in thanks to God for Mount Ushi-darena, God-made, brilliant with holiness, and for all the mountains shining with holiness, of abundant brightness, which God made, and for the royal glory unconsumed and God-made. And I offer with a complete and sacred offering, in thanks for the good blessedness, and the good religious knowledge, and rectitude, and persisting zeal, and for the glory and the benefit which God made.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering, in thanks for the good and pious prayer for blessings of the pious man, and for the swift and dreadful warning of the wise.

And I offer with a complete and sacred blessing, in thanks to God for these places, districts, pastures, and abodes with their springs of water, and for the waters and the lands, and the plants, and for this earth and yon heaven, and for the holy wind, and for the stars and the moon, even the stars that run their course from the beginning, ordained, and for all the holy creatures of the Bountiful Spirit, be they male or female, regulators as they are of the ritual order.

And I offer with a complete and sacred blessing to God, the lofty Lord who is Righteousness the Best, Lord of the days during their duration, and of the days during daylight, and of the months, and the years, and of the seasons, Lord of the ritual at the time of the morning watch.

And I offer the feast meat-offering with a complete and sacred offering, and Welfare, who guards the water, and Immortality, who guards the wood, and the flesh of the Cow of blessed gift, with thanks for Obedience, the blessed, whose word is the sacred word, of the daring spear, the lordly, whose name is spoken in praise.

And I offer the sacred plant and its juice in remembrance of the righteous Zarathushtra Spitama, the saint, whose name is spoken in praise.

And I offer the wood-billets with the perfume in thanks to God for the light, His sign, O Lord Wise, whose name is spoken in praise.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering, in remembrance of the souls of the righteous, the mighty and overwhelming, of the righteous of the ancient lore, and of the next of kin.

And I offer with a complete and sacred offering to God, Lord of all the ordered times of the ritual, with all His good angels, heavenly and earthly, who are set to serve Him, because of Righteousness the Best.

May that approach to us, and with a sacred blessing, O Lord, whose benefits the offerers are seeking. Thy praisers and speakers of Thy sacred word, O Wise Lord, may we be named; we desire it, and such may we be. What reward, O Wise Lord, adapted to myself, Thou hast appointed unto souls,

Of this do Thou Thyself bestow upon us for this world and for that of the mind; yea, do Thou bestow so much of this that we may attain to Thy ruling protection and to that of Righteousness for ever.

We give thanks for the Ahuna-vairya prayer, and for the veracious word correctly uttered, and for the good and pious prayer for blessings, and for the dreadful warning of the wise, and for Welfare and Immortality, and for the flesh of the Cow of blessed gift, and for the sacred plant and its juice, and for the wood-billets and the perfume, for the praise of the pious and good prayer for blessings.

That one among beings whose superior fidelity in the sacrifice God the Wise Lord knows through the righteousness within him, yea, even those female saints whose superior sanctity is thus known, we honour. We honour all, both males and females, whose superiority is such.

The leader: So let the assistant, from his righteousness, holy and learned, speak forth!
