Plain text of The Gatha Spenta Mainyu · Yasna 6 (The Worship Continues with Fuller Expression)

We worship God the Creator, the Wise Lord, with our sacrifice, and give thanks for His bountiful gifts, which rule aright and dispose of all aright.

And we worship God with our sacrifice as Lord of the ritual days, of the morning, the midday and the evening watches, the holy Lord of the ritual order, and God the Friend of the wide pastures, of the thousand ears, and myriad eyes, the All-hearing whose name is spoken in praise, the Giver of peace to the pasture.

And we worship God with our sacrifice as Lord of the noon watch and of the ordered seasons, and Righteousness the Best, and the light, the sign of the Wise Lord, the holy Lord of the ritual order.

And we worship God as Lord of the afternoon watch, and of the seasons of the herds and of the year, the holy Lord of the ritual order, and that kingly Lord, the radiant Lord of the waters, of the fleet horses, and the water holy and God-made.

And we worship God in our sacrifice as Lord of the evening and the nightfall, the holy Lord of the ritual order, and of the whole year, and in remembrance of the good, heroic, bountiful souls of the righteous, and the women who bring forth many sons, and the prosperous home-life which endures without reverse throughout the year, and force which is well-shaped and stately, and the blow which brings the victory, which is God-given, and the victorious ascendency which it secures.

And we worship God with our sacrifice as Lord of the dawn watch and of the seasons of settlement and home, and for Obedience, the blessed and the stately, who smites with victory and makes the settlements advance, and God the Most Just, and Rectitude, who makes the settlements advance and causes them to increase, the holy Lord of the ritual order.

And we worship God in our sacrifice as Lord of the months, the new moon and the waning moon, and the full moon which scatters night, the holy Lord of the ritual order.

And we worship God in our sacrifice as Lord of the yearly festivals, the mid-spring, the mid-summer, the season of the corn, and the season of the herds, the promoter of the strength of the herds, the mid-year, the holy Lord of the ritual order, and the all-year gathering, and the seasons in which they fall.

And we worship with our sacrifice God, Lord of all the ordered times of the ritual, the thirty and three which approach the nearest around about us at the morning watch, which are the times of Righteousness the Best, and whose observances were inculcated by God the Wise Lord, and uttered forth by Zarathushtra.

And we worship God the Lord and the Friend with our sacrifice, the lofty, and imperishable, and holy, and in thanks to Him we regard the stars, moon, and sun, among the plants of the bundle of twigs, and God the Friend, the province-lord of all the provinces, even God the Wise Lord, the radiant, the glorious, and the good, valiant, and bountiful souls of the righteous.

And we worship God with thanks for the light, the sign of the Wise Lord, together with all lights, and the good waters, the best and God-made and holy, even all the waters which are God-made and holy, and all the plants which God made.

And we worship God with our sacrifice for the bountiful sacred word, the glorious and true, the law revealed against the powers of evil, the law of Zarathushtra, and we worship with our sacrifice for its long descent, and the good religion of the worshippers of God.

And we worship God with thanks for Mount Ushi-darena, the God-made, glorious, shining with holiness, and for all the mountains that shine with holiness, with abundant brilliance, God-made. And we worship God for the mighty kingly glory God-made, the mighty glory, unconsumed and God-made, and the good sanctity, the brilliant, the lofty, the powerful and the stately, delivering men with its inherent power. Yea, we worship God for the glory and the benefit which are God-made.

And we worship God with our sacrifice for the pious and good blessing, and the pious man, the saint, and the mighty warning of the wise.

And we worship God for these waters, lands, and plants, these places, districts, pastures, and abodes with their springs of water, and we worship God with our sacrifice, this Lord of the district, who is the Wise Lord Himself.

And we worship God, Lord of all the greatest ordered times: the days in their duration, and the days during daylight, and the months, and the years.

And we worship God, giver of Welfare, who guards the water, and Immortality, who guards the plants and the wood, and we give thanks for Obedience, the blessed and the stately, who smites with the blow of victory and makes the settlements advance, the holy Lord of the ritual order.

And we give thanks to God for the sacred plant and its juice. And we remember the righteous Zarathushtra Spitama, the saint.

And we give thanks to God for the wood-billets, and the perfume, and for the light, the sign of the Wise Lord, the holy Lord of the ritual order.

And we remember the good, heroic, bountiful souls of the righteous.
