Plain text of The Gatha Spenta Mainyu · Yasna 3 (The Worship Advances to the Naming of the Objects of Devotion)
1 With a bundle of twigs brought to its appointed place, accompanied with the offering, at the time of the morning watch, I desire to approach, with my praise, the offering of the feast, as it is consumed, and likewise Immortality, as the guardian of plants and wood, and Welfare, who guards the water, with the fresh meat, for the devotion of God the Wise Lord, and of His bountiful gifts, and with thanks for Obedience, the blessed, who is endowed with sanctity, and who smites with the blow of victory and causes the settlements to advance.
2 And I desire to approach the sacred plant and the cup of its pressed juice with my praise, in remembrance of the righteous Zarathushtra Spitama, the saint. And I desire to approach the sacred wood with my praise, with the perfume, in thanks to God for the light, His sign, O Lord Wise!
3 And I desire to approach the sacred plants with my praise, in thanks for the good waters which God created; and I desire to approach the water of the plant and the fresh milk with my praise, and the plant Hadhanaepata, offered with sanctity, in thanks for the waters which are God-made.

And I desire with my voice the thoughts well thought, and the words well spoken, and the deeds well done, and the recital of the Gathas as they are heard. And I desire to approach the well-said sacred words with my praise, and this higher lordship with this sanctity, and this exact regulation, and the reverential prayer for blessings, spoken at the fitting hour; and I desire to approach them for the contentment and devotion of all the holy angels, heavenly and earthly, and for the contentment of each man's soul.
5 And I desire to approach God with my praise, Lord of the ritual days, the Lord of the morning, of the midday, and of the evening watch. And I desire to approach, with the hymn of praise to God the Friend of the wide pastures, of the thousand ears, of the myriad eyes, the All-hearing whose name is spoken in praise, and with Him the Giver of peace to the pastures.

8 And God, Lord of the evening and the nightfall, and Lord of the whole year, with the hymn of praise for the souls of the righteous, and of the women who have many sons, and the year-long unchanged prosperity, and of might, the well-shaped and stately, smiting victoriously, God-given, and of the victorious ascendency which it secures.
9 And I desire to approach God, Lord of the dawn watch, and of the seasons of settlement and home, with the hymn of praise for Obedience, the sacred, the holy, who smites with the blow of victory and makes the settlements advance, and with that of God the Most Just, and of Rectitude who furthers the settlements and causes them to increase.
10 And I desire to approach God, Lord of the monthly festivals, the ordered times of the ritual, and of the new moon and the waning moon, and the full moon which scatters night,
11 And God, Lord of the yearly festivals, the mid-spring, the mid-summer, the season of the corn, and the season of the herds, the season of mid-year and the all-year gathering, and the seasons, ordered times of the ritual, (12) and all those ordered times, the three and thirty, which approach the nearest at the time of the morning watch, which are the times of the Order called Righteousness the Best, and whose services were inculcated by God the Wise Lord, and pronounced by Zarathushtra, as the feasts of Righteousness, the Best.
13 And I desire to approach God, the Lord and the Friend, the lofty and imperishable, the holy, with the hymn of praise for those stars which are the creatures of the Bountiful Spirit, and for the star Tishtrya, the radiant, the glorious, and for the moon which contains the seed of cattle, and for the resplendent sun, a sign of God the Wise Lord, and for God the Friend, the Lord of the provinces, and God the Wise Lord, who rules this day, the radiant, the glorious, and the souls of the righteous, who are remembered in this month,

17 And I desire to approach with the hymn of praise for the good and pious blessing of the pious man and of the saint, and for the awful and swift warning of the wise, (18) and for these places, regions, pastures, and abodes, with their water-springs, and for the waters, and the lands, and the plants, and for this earth and yon heaven, and for the holy wind and for the stars, moon, and sun, and for the stars that run from the beginning, ordained and self-moving by His decree, and for all the holy creatures which are those of the Bountiful Spirit, male and female, regulators of the ritual order, (19) and with that for the lofty Lord who is Righteousness, the essence of the ritual, and for the days in their duration, and for the days during daylight, and for the monthly festivals, and the yearly festivals, and for the several seasons which order the ritual at the time of the morning watch.

24 I will confess myself a worshipper of God the Wise Lord, of the order of Zarathushtra, a foe to the powers of evil, devoted to the lore of the Lord, for the morning watch, the holy time of the ritual order, for sacrifice, homage, devotion, and for praise, and for the midday and evening watches, the holy times of the ritual order, and for the sacrifice, homage, devotion, and praise of the days in their duration, and of the days during daylight, and for the months, and the years, and for the several seasons, for their sacrifice, and homage, their devotion, and their praise.
The leader of the worship speaks: As the Lord to be revered and chosen, let the priest speak forth to me.
The assistant responds: As the Lord to be revered and chosen, let him who leads the worship speak forth to me.
The leader again: So let the assistant, from his righteousness, holy and learned, speak forth!
