1 Propitiation to the Wise Lord. A blessing is Righteousness the Best. I confess as a worshipper of the Wise Lord, and of Zarathustra's order, giving thanks for the noon hours, the holy time of the order of worship, for worship, homage, propitiation, and for praise, and for the increase of cattle and the tribe, the holy times of the order of worship, for worship, homage, propitiation, and for praise. 2. And propitiation be to Righteousness the Best, and to the fire of the Wise Lord, His sign, for worship, homage, propitiation, and praise. 3, 4. (See Y. LXXI, 2, 3.)

5 And we give thanks for the noon hours, the holy time of the order of worship, and for the Gatha Ahunavaiti, the holy, and ruling in the order of worship; and for the Gatha Ushtavaiti, and for the Gatha Spenta-mainyu, and for the Gatha Vohu-khshathra, and for the Gatha Vahishtoishti, holy, and ruling in the order of worship. 6. And we give thanks for the increase of cattle, and for the tribe, and for the Fshusho-mathra, even for the word correctly spoken, and we give thanks for the many words correctly spoken, even the victorious ones which slay the devils. And we give thanks for the waters and the lands, and for the plants, and for the heavenly angels who are givers of the holy and the good. And we give thanks for the Bountiful Immortals, the guardians of the saints.

7 And we remember the good, heroic, bountiful souls of the saints, and the heights of Righteousness the Best, and the greatest holy words as moving us to action, the greatest as teaching faithfulness to holy vows, the greatest as referring to actions which are evidently just, and the greatest for the acquisition of the faith of those who worship the Wise Lord. 8. And we give thanks for that assembly and reunion which the Bountiful Immortals hold when they gather on the heights of Heaven, for the worship and homage of the tribe's Lord.

And we therefore give thanks to God, the holy Lord of the order of worship. 9. And we give thanks for Righteousness the Best, and for the fire of the Wise Lord, His sign. 10. Yea, we give thanks to Thee, O Lord, who madest the fire a sign, the holy Lord of worship.

I bless the worship, homage, strength, and swiftness of Righteousness the Best, and of the fire of the Wise Lord. And to this One be the glory!
