Unto the Wise Lord be propitiation. A blessing is Righteousness, called the Best.

I confess myself a worshipper of the Wise Lord, of Zarathustra's order, a foe to the devils, devoted to the lore of the Lord, giving thanks for the holy morning hours, regulator of the order of worship, for its worship, homage, propitiation, and praise, and for the holy hours of Savanghi and Vishya, the righteous regulators of the order of worship, for their homage, worship, propitiation, and praise, and for the days during daylight, and the days in their length, and for the months, and the years, and for the especial seasons.

And to the Friend of the wide pastures, of the thousand ears, of the myriad eyes, the Guardian of the spoken name, be worship, homage, propitiation, and praise, as an attribute of the Wise Lord.

4. And we give thanks to God, the Wise Lord, the holy Lord of the order of worship, and for Zarathustra, and for the soul of Zarathustra, the saint. And we give thanks for the Bounteous Immortals, the guardians of the saints, and for the good, heroic, and bounteous souls of the saints, of the living and of the dead, of the bodily, and of those in heaven. And we give thanks to the highest of the lords, the one that most attains His ends; and we give thanks for the most strenuous of the angels, the most satisfying of the servants of the order of worship, the one who reaches what he seeks, the most infallibly of those who have as yet approached the nearest in worship, even the timely prayer of the saint who rules in the order of worship. 5. And we give thanks for the morning hours, the holy time of the order of worship, and for the Universal Weal, the holy, ruling in the order of worship, and for Deathlessness, the holy, ruling in the order of worship. And we give thanks for the question and lore of the holy Lord of worship. And we give thanks for that heroic mighty Yasna, the Haptanghaiti, the chief of the order of worship. 6. And we give thanks for the hours of Savanghi and Vishya, the holy times of the order of worship; and we give thanks for the Airyaman-ishyo, the holy chief of the order of worship, the powerful, victoriously smiting, that which no hate can reach, which overwhelms all torments, and which passes over all torments with victory, which is the uppermost, and the middle, and the foremost, for the effective invocation of that surpassing holy word, the five Gathas.

, 8. And we give thanks for the Friend of the wide pastures, and for the exaltation of Vishya, the chief. And we give thanks for Vishya, the holy time of the order of worship, and for the Friend.

-11. And we give thanks to God for the fire, His sign, the holy chief of the order of worship. And we offer this bundle of twigs which has the offering with it, and the girdle with it, and which is spread with exact sanctity, itself holy. And we give thanks for the waters, and for the stately Praise, and for the wise man's swift curse upon evil. And we remember the souls of the dead, which are the souls of the saints. And we worship that exalted Lord who is the Wise Lord, the highest object of the order of worship, who is the one who has attained the most to homage in worship. And we give thanks for all the words which Zarathustra spoke, and all the deeds well done, and those which shall yet be done in days to come. And we give thanks for that male one of beings whose gift in the offering the Lord doth know to be better, and of female saints, the same. As the Lord is to be revered and chosen, so is the master one who rules from the Righteous Order, a creator of mental goodness, and of life's actions done for the Wise Lord, and the Kingdom is the Lord's, which to the poor shall offer a nurturer.
