Plain text of Hymn 7

Bring the Kimidin hither, bring the Yatudhana self-declared; for God, the Radiant, thou, when lauded, hast become the slaughterer of the wicked.

O All-Knowing Lord Supreme, controller of our bodies, accept this offering, the butter, the oil: make Thou the wicked sorcerers mourn.

Let sorcerers mourn, let all greedy Kimidins weep and wail: and, O God the Radiant, O God the Mighty, may ye both accept this offering of ours.

May the Radiant One seize upon them first, may the strong-armed Mighty One drive them forth: let every wicked sorcerer come hither and say, Here am I.

Let us behold Thy strength, O All-Knowing. Viewer of men, tell us the sorcerers. Burnt by Thy heat and making declaration let all approach this offering before Thee.

O All-Knowing, seize on them: for our advantage art Thou born: O Radiant One, be Thou our helper and make the sorcerers wail.

O Radiant One, bring Thou hitherward the sorcerers bound and chained, and afterward let the Mighty One tear their heads off with His thunderbolt.
