1 Men have abstained from giving, nor counted the Mighty One as God; where at the votary's store the ungrateful one has consumed his fill, supreme is God over all.

2 Thou, O God, in Thy forbearance passest by the ill that he has wrought; yet nowhere else findest Thou place wherein to receive the gift. Supreme is God over all.

19 Distinguishing the wicked and the righteous, viewing all, I go. I look with favour upon the wise, and accept the offering of the sincere devotee. Supreme is God over all.
