Plain text of Hymn Cxxiv

With what help will He come to us, wonderful, ever-waxing Friend, with what most mighty company?

What genuine and most liberal gift will spirit Thee to be most bountiful, to open even strongly-guarded wealth?

Do Thou who art protector of us Thy friends who praise Thee, with a hundred aids approach us.

We will, with God and all the angels to help us, bring these existing worlds into subjection. Our sacrifice, our bodies, and our offspring shall God form together with the Adityas.

With the Adityas, with the band of angels, may God be protector of our bodies; as when the angels came after they had slaughtered the rebels, keeping safe their angelic nature,

brought the sun hitherward with mighty powers, and looked about them on their vigorous nature. With this may we obtain strength God-appointed, and joy with brave sons through a hundred winters.
