Plain text of Hymn Cxxiii
1 This is the Godhead, this the might of the sun: he has withdrawn what was spread o'er work unfinished. When he has loosed his horses from their station, straight over all night spreads out her garment.
2 In the sky's lap the sun assumes this form for the Friend and the All-Seeing to look on. His bay steeds well maintain his power eternal, at one time bright and darksome at another.
