For so Thou art the hero's Friend, a Warrior too art Thou, and strong: so may Thy mercy be upon us.

2 So hath the offering, wealthiest Lord, been paid by all the worshippers: so be Thou near me, O God.

3 Be not slack to us, O Lord of wealth and spoil: accept the offering blended with milk.

4 So also is His excellence, great, copious, rich in cattle, like a ripe branch to the worshipper.

5 For verily Thy mighty powers, O God, are saving helps at once unto a worshipper like me.

6 So are His lovely gifts: let laud be said and praise to God be sung, that He may accept our offering.
