Turning, as 'twere, to meet the sun, enjoy from God all good things. When he who is to be born is born with power, we look to treasures as our heritage.

2 Praise Him who sends us wealth, whose bounties injure none. Good are the gifts which God gives. He is not wroth with one who seeks His good pleasure: He turns His mind to granting boons.

3 Verily, God is great; truly, the Lord is great. As He is great indeed His greatness is admired; yea, verily, great art Thou, O God.

4 Yea, O God, Thou art great in fame: Thou evermore art great. By greatness Thou art Lord of the angels, divine, far-spread, inviolable Light.
