Plain text of Book 20, Hymn 24
Accept the juice that we have pressed, the offering blended with milk, O God the Mighty: come, favouring us, with Thy grace.
Accept, O God, this gladdening offering, placed on the grass, pressed out with stones: is it not offered for Thy sake?
To God the Mighty have my songs of praise gone forth, thus rapidly sent hence, to turn Him to our offering.
Hither with songs of praise we call on God to accept our offering: will He not draw near to us by our lauds?
O God, these offerings are made: accept them, Lord of Hundred Powers, Thou Prince of wealth.
We know Thee winner of the spoil and resolute in battles, Sage! Therefore Thy blessing we implore.
Accept, O God, this juice which we have pressed, mingled with barley and with milk.
O God, for Thee in Thine own place I make the offering: and let remembrance of Thee remain deep in our hearts.
We call on Thee, the Ancient One, O God, and bring our offering, we Kusikas who seek Thine aid.
