O God, Lord of great wealth, Lord of Prayer and of Might, accept this sacrifice. Let Thy abundance sink deep into us: vouchsafe us riches with full store of heroes.

2 Let Thy angels of swift pinions draw nigh. Come forward; a wide place hath been made on the sacred grass for the gathering: let those who gather enjoy the pleasant food we share in charity.

3 For God the All-Knowing, worthy of our praise, will we frame with our mind this eulogy as 'twere a car. Good among the assembled is this care of ours. Let us not, in Thy friendship, O God, suffer harm.

4 O God, draw near to us with Thy mercy, by one means or by many, for Thy power is able. Bring Thy angels as witnesses, according to Thy nature, and be gracious.
