Plain text of Book 20, Hymn 11
Fort-render, Lord of Wealth, dispelling foemen, God the Mighty with lightnings hath overcome the enemy. Impelled by prayer, great is His majesty: He hath filled earth and heaven, the bounteous Giver.
2 I stimulate Thy zeal, the Strong, the Hero, decking my song of praise for Thee, the Immortal. O God, Thou art equally the Lord of heavenly hosts and human generations.
3 Leading His band, God the Mighty encompassed the tyrant; weak grew the wily leader of enchanters. He who burns fierce in forests destroyed Vyansa, and made the stars of the nights apparent.
4 God, light-winner, days' creator, conquered, as guardian, hostile bands with those who loved Him. For man the days' bright ensign He illumined, and found the light for His great joy and gladness.
