Plain text of Book 19, Hymn 10
Befriend us with His aids, God the Mighty and the Radiant, God the Mighty and the All-Seeing, who receive our offerings! God the Mighty, the Provider, give health, wealth and comfort. God the Mighty and the Nourisher be our strength in battle!
Auspicious friends to us be good fortune and the blessing of prayer, auspicious be bounty and all riches, the blessing of the true and well-conducted, and the Guardian of covenants in many forms apparent.
Kind unto us be the Maker and the Sustainer and the far-reaching earth with its nature from God. Auspicious unto us be earth and heaven, the mountain and the fair invocations of the angels.
Favour us, God the Radiant, with His face of splendour, and the All-Seeing, and the Friend, and the pair of healers. Favour us noble actions of the pious; impetuous wind blow on us with favour!
Early invoked may heaven and earth be friendly, and air's mid-region good for us to look on. To us may herbs and forest trees be gracious, gracious the victorious Lord of the region.
Be God the Mighty friendly with His angels, and with the angels God the All-Seeing, who blesseth. Kind with the angels of might be God the Healer, and with the noble women here may the Maker kindly hear us.
Kind unto us be the gift of God and devotions, kind be the sacrifice and stones for pressing. Kind be the fixing of the sacred pillars, kind be the tender grass, and kind the altar.
May the far-seeing sun rise up to bless us: be the four quarters of the heaven auspicious. Auspicious be the firmly-seated mountains, auspicious be the rivers and the waters.
May the infinite Lord through holy works be gracious, and may the angels of the storm, loud in song, be friendly. May God the All-Pervading give felicity, and the Nourisher, and air that cherisheth our lives, and the wind.
Prosper us, God the Light-giver, who rescues, and let the radiant mornings be propitious. Propitious to our children be the rain, kind to us be the field's benign Protector!
