Plain text of Book 19, Hymn 3
Wheresoever, from sky, earth, air's mid-region, from plants and herbs, from tall trees, the Light of God, the All-Knowing (Jatavedas), is carried here and there to divers places, even thence come Thou to us with loving-kindness.
2 All majesty of Thine in floods, in forest, in plants, in cattle, in the depths of waters, all Thy signs combined, O God the Radiant, come unto us wealth-giving, undecaying.
3 Thy majesty among the angels in the Garden, Thy plenty far-diffused amid human beings, even with this, O God, give us riches.
4 To Him the wise, the famous, swift to listen, with words and verses I come nigh for bounty. May we be safe from threatening danger. Soften by sacrifice Thy wrath, O God.
