He who has this knowledge eats food with resolution as his sustenance. 2 He, when he went away to the southern region, went away in the strength of the Mighty, making strength his sustenance. He who has this knowledge eats food with strength as his sustenance. 3 He, when he went away to the western region, went away in the justice of the All-Seeing Sovereign, making the waters his sustenance. He who has this knowledge eats food with the waters as his sustenance. 4 He, when he went away to the northern region, went away in the bounty of the Giver of provision, making the offering of the seven sages his sustenance. He who has this knowledge eats food with the offering as his sustenance. 5 He, when he went away to the steadfast region, went away in the all-pervading knowledge of God, making the Sovereign Power his sustenance. He who has this knowledge eats food with that as his sustenance. 6 He, when he went away to the animals, went away in the mercy of the Healer, making herbs their sustenance. He who has this knowledge eats food with herbs as sustenance. 7 He, when he went away to the forefathers, went away in the righteous judgement of God, making charity in their memory his sustenance. He who has this knowledge eats food with charity as his sustenance. 8 He, when he went away to men, went away in the light of the Radiant One, making the blessing of the offering his sustenance. He who has this knowledge eats food with the blessing of the offering as his sustenance. 9 He, when he went away to the upper region, went away in the guidance of the Lord of Prayer, making the carrying of the offering his sustenance. He who has this knowledge eats food with that as his sustenance.

10 He, when he went away to the angels, went away in the authority of the Ruler, making zeal his sustenance. He who has this knowledge eats food with zeal as his sustenance. 11 He, when he went away to creatures, went away in the power of the Creator, making the vital breath his sustenance. He who has this knowledge eats food with the vital breath as his sustenance. 12 He, when he went away to all the intermediate spaces, went away in the grace of the Supreme Lord, making devotion his sustenance. He who has this knowledge eats food with devotion as his sustenance.
