I call upon God with fair laud and reverent cry: may He, auspicious, hear us and Himself observe. With never-breaking needle may He sew His work, and send a glorious man who gives a hundred gifts.

2 All Thy kind favours, O Lord, lovely in their form, wherewith Thou grantest treasures to the man who gives, with these come Thou to us this day benevolent, bestowing wealth of thousand sorts.
