Submission to God, who holds the weapons of the heavens! Submission to Him, who gives power to kings! Submission to Him, who rules the people's arms! Submission to God, who decreed death!

2 Let submission be to Thy defence and to Thy accusation paid. O God, be this submission paid to Thy good-will and to Thy judgement!

3 Submission to Thee, who givest the physicians their healing! Let this reverence be done to Thee, Lord of the learned and of the roots they gather.
