Plain text of Book 5, Hymn 25
2 Even as God made this broad earth receive the germ of all the things that be,
So by His leave may the germ within thee be blessed. I call on Him to strengthen it.
3 O God, set the germ, set thou the germ in her.
Let Him bestow the germ in thee.
4 May God, the Friend, the All-Seeing, the Lord of Prayer, lay the germ in thee.
May God the Mighty, the Radiant, the Disposer, bestow the germ in thee.
5 May God form and mould the womb, duly shape the forms,
Infuse the stream, and lay for thee the germ.
7 By God's command there is a germ of plants and herbs, a germ of forest trees,
A germ of each existing thing, so may He lay the germ here.
9 Prepare thee, Barhatsama; may God give thee a son, thy son and mine.
10 O God, Disposer, lay within the body of this dame a male germ with the noblest form, for her in the tenth month to bear.
11 O God, celestial Artist, lay within the body of this dame a male germ with the noblest form for her in the tenth month to bear.
12 O God, Vivifier, lay within the body of this dame a male germ with the noblest form for her in the tenth month to bear.
13 O Lord of Life, within this woman's body lay a male germ with the noblest form for her in the tenth month to bear.
